Golf Goes to the Dogs at the 2nd Annual Just Fore Dogs Golf Tournament
On September 10th, 2017, the Cedarhill Golf & Country Club will be going to the dogs! The Just Fore Dogs Golf Tournament is back for it’s second year, raising much needed funds for homeless dogs in Ottawa. This year, proceeds will go towards helping two local rescues, Freedom Dog Rescue and Ottawa Dog Rescue. The tournament was started as a collaboration between the two rescues to unite and raise funds for one goal: the save the dogs, and has since become an annual event aimed to help homeless dogs in need.
Returning to MC again this year is Wendy Daniels from BOOM 99.7. Players can also expect chances to win incredible prizes, as well as a silent auction with some more amazing items. You'll definitely want to get your game on for the hole in one prize, win this and you could be driving away with a 2017 Ford Escape! Other prizes include a 2018 ClubEG golf membership for the closest to the pin winner, as well as two free rounds of golf at your choice of over 25 courses for the longest drive prize. Players can register here as either a solo player, or as a team. Registration fees are $130 per golfer, or $520 for a four-player team and both fees cover golf cart rentals and a dinner. For those interested in only attending the dinner can pay $45 and choose between a beef or vegetarian dinner.
Registration closes September 3rd, 2017 for both players and the dinner. Be sure to check out the Just Fore Dogs Facebook page for more information and give them a like! You can also find Freedom Dog Rescue on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as Ottawa Dog Rescue on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
