OLM Pet of the Week- Meet Buster

This week’s Pet of the Week comes from a sad background and is living proof of how love and care can change the world for a neglected soul. Freezing and rail-thin, Buster was so desperate to for a little warmth that he made his way into a stranger’s home, unafraid of what lay inside. Outdoor life had no suited him; he came in ears so badly frost bitten that the tips fell off. He also had frostbite on his chest, feet, chin and tail, which thankfully didn’t need amputation. Buster was so thin and anaemic, and covered in fleas that he had zero protection from the freezing weather. Thanks to the care of Cat Rescue Network, Buster’s life has changed dramatically!

Today, Buster is the sweetest and friendliest cat who loves attention and will often rub against people to get it. Even on his first at his foster home, he would seek attention from his foster mom and would rub up against her for a little love. He is estimated to be about 2-years-old and is a lovely beige tabby. His ears are beginning to heal over and he has filled out nicely over time. His vet even thinks that the fur on his tail will eventually grow back! He is neutered, de-wormed, up to date on vaccinations, and cleared of any fleas and mites!

While Buster is cautious with other animals, he doesn’t seem to mind his foster mother’s dogs, so a home with cat-savvy dogs would suit him well. However, he does prefer to be the only cat in the house. You can check out his profile on Petfinder, or follow updates on him, and other adoptable cats on CRN's Facebook page

If Buster sounds like the right fit for your home, you can download an adoption contract here, and email it to flora_louise@yahoo.ca.
