Bio: Alison Gibson is an Eastern Ontario tourism entrepreneur and destination storyteller. She is the founder of A 1000 Ways, which creates private hosted experiences that introduce travellers to the region through its food, landscapes, history, independent businesses and people. She also founded Explore the Riverlands, a storytelling platform that reveals the connections between the region’s villages, waterways, landscapes and people, helping visitors understand and experience it as one connected place. Everything she builds is intended to help people meet this region more deeply and help the region become stronger because of tourism.
