Superette now welcoming customers at its second Ottawa location

The first cannabis company to set up shop in Ottawa is now serving customers at its newly opened store at Bank and Fifth Avenue in the Glebe.

It has been a couple of years since cannabis became legal in Canada and if any stigma remains, Superette has wiped it clean away. From the second you walk through the front door and are greeted by the floor-to-ceiling bright red tiles, the fun-fair-style giant claw game, and the displays full of fun merch, you are on-board and want to see more.

Your cannabis journey starts after a quick ID check and the "vending machine" opens inviting customer into cannabis-Narnia.

ABOVE: A faux vending machine is really the door into the shop. The store is bright and airy with a fun diner vibe.

Superette CEO Mimi Lam said that “Superette takes pride in making the buying experience fun”. And fun it is — once through the door and past the fun-mirror hall, the retail store opens up in front of you. Like its sister store on Wellington West, the shop is set up with a cool diner vibe.

If the feature flower wall doesn’t help you find the right cannabis, the super-friendly staff will help you find what you are looking for.

In addition to great service, Superette gives back to the community through their Corporate Social Responsibility program. A 2020 partnership with the Ottawa Food Bank sees the company donating a non-perishable food item to the Food Bank for every cannabis packaging that is returned to the store.
